Is the New “American Gladiators” Fake?
whether the new American Gladiators show on NBC was when one of the female contestants, claiming to be a United States soldier, yelled “Hoo-rah! Semper Fi!”. You see, “Hoo-rah” is an Army thing. “Semper Fi” is a Marines thing. Anyone who was really in either of those services would not mix the two in the same breath. Poking around the internet has turned up a lot of debate and discussion on this issue. Many people are making observations and turning up pieces of evidence that seem to indicate that the new American Gladiators is about as real of a competition as the WWE wrestling that host Hulk Hogan used to participate in. A video recently uploaded to Youtube points out numerous suspicious activities in slow motion. One contender who was getting very far ahead of another during the Eliminator race appears to purposely drop/throw a rope and puts forth a suspiciously lackluster effort in climbing.
