Is the name piper to weird for a girl?
I absolutely LOVE the name Piper for a girl. It is adorable, and unisex names have a lot of personality on a girl. Its interesting and not overused, which makes it a good choice. I wish that was my name! I would love to name a girl Piper. You could spell it Pyper, but the y’s for i’s is getting a little overused. As for Ellyiot, I personally don’t like the ‘y’ in it, there are too many vowels in one place. Even though Elliot/Ellyot can work for a girl (think Scrubs) and she could go by Ellie, there’s not a whole lot of point to naming your child something that they will most likely want to shorten. I knew a girl named Amanda, and people frequently joked about it being “A man, duh” because she was very masculine. I also knew someone with the last name Alman and people said “all man” because she was not very feminine either. I think Piper is a much better choice because it is unisex, not overused, and short&sweet.
