Is the myth of Jesus a story written to secretly deify Augustus Octavian Caesar?

First Jesus is not a myth, but I know I won’t convince you of that. How would it deify Caesar, other than “Render to Ceasar the things that are Ceasar’s and to God the things that are God’s” I don’t see how that would have been done it. And Romans already worshiped the Emperor. That was the reason so many early Christians were put to death, they refused to worship the Emperor as well as other Roman gods, but often it was not worshiping the Emperor that tipped the scales. Their stories of god-human people, which Roman and Greek mythology was full of, were often majestic and were not simple carpenter’s who died a terrible death (since most probably would not have believed the Resurrection if they did not believe in Jesus.

There is no ‘myth’ about Jesus. He appears often enough and he appeared at a special series of lectures. It was subsequently put into book form and titled “Divine Healing of Mind and Body” (The Master Speaks Again in Talks Given by) – Murdo MacDonald-Bayne, author/ healer/ lecturer. It is a classic!
