Is the museum accessible for people with disabilities?
There is an access ramp at the Museum’s north door. To access the ramp, enter through the west gate of the Mary Rippon Theater. All of the Museum’s exhibits are designed for children to explore and learn. The Paleontology Hall is a favorite of most children, in part because there are several hands-on objects in the gallery (not to mention the saber-toothed cats, complete Pteranodon skeleton, and Triceratops skull). The Discovery Corner is a special exhibit that has been designed for children of all ages to explore the natural world in unstructured and hands-on ways. Discovery Carts offer additional hands-on, self-guided activities for children.
