Is The Movie Precious Based In A True Story?
Actually i saw an interview with the author Sapphire and she said in her line of work she encountered various different people, a lady that said she had to leave early to pick up her child and she was just a child herself, a lot of battered woman in the hands of their own mothers.She took bits and pieces of characters that she came across but nothing in the movie was actually based on actual events.
