Is the movie jumper based off a book?

0

The movie was based on the book in that it took certain elements from the book; David Rice, his ability to jump, Millie & David’s abusive father. If you’ve seen the dvd then you might have watched Steven Gould’s interview where he talked about having his novel adapted in a movie. He mentioned that a movie that followed the storyline of his book would not have made a good movie because a lot of the book involves David by himself. The book is a lot better than the movie. There are a number of differences between the movie & book. The main differences are the Paladins & that there are other Jumpers. Also that the movie makes a David a total jerk. In the movie I liked Griffin better. Like William mentioned besides Jumper, there is its sequel Reflex. There is also Jumper: Griffin’s Story but this is a prequel to the movie. As for the second part of your questions, about whether liking a movie will mean that you like the book just as much or maybe the movie will make the book less interestin
