Is the MOSS extension polyphonic and multitimbral?
Yes. In Combi an Sequencer modes, you can assign 1 to 6 MOSS voices to a track: in the Zone control, select the MOSS setup tab and reconfigure the number of voices on each track. Remark: Like the Z1, the MOSS card utilizes Sondious XG technology, a physical modeling synthesis system developed jointly by Yamaha and Stanford University here in the San Francisco area. Other synths utilizing Sondious XG include Yamaha’s EX-5, EX-7 and EX-5R, as well as their virtual horn module.
