At least half of the funds for grants will be distributed to United Church partners in Palestine and Israel working for peace. This is a tangible expression of the United Church’s commitment to support a peaceful two-state solution that includes recognition by the Israeli government and the emergent State of Palestine of equal citizenship rights, protections, privileges, and responsibilities for all their citizens regardless of religious or national origins. The other half of the funds raised for grants will be distributed to partners around the globe, including some in Canada.
