The remapping process is non invasive, nothing physical is opened or altered that wouldn’t be done at a normal service, that is the beauty of a remap over chipping or adding tuning boxes. There is a counter in the ECU which is incremented every time someone interfaces with the ECU software, and this was used to detect when someone has interfered with the maps. However, our software reads this number, and resets it back to what it was when it is done, so that avenue is covered as well. It is obvious when you drive the car that it is not a standard set-up, but that is the reason you are here looking at getting the work done!
