Is the Migration going to change the access rights users currently have (i.e. level 3 users etc)?
The migration has no current plans to alter the access rights. However we recognise that the migration provides a good opportunity should we wish to change the controls on users’ desktops and hence tidy up the situation, e.g. preventing users from saving data locally and thus provide a more manageable and stable environment with users saving data to secure and backed up servers. This option will be considered by LIS management and the decision communicated.
