As long as the thermometer is ready for measurements, it offers the same accuracy. When battery power is too low, the thermometers show a low battery symbol and does not perform any measurements until the battery is replaced. So, there is no “low battery mode”. We propose to use up to 70% concentrated Isopropyl Alcohol for disinfecting. Our thermometer are 100% waterproof and can alternatively be placed for 24 hours in any common disinfecting liquid.
