Is the Mayo Clinic Grapefruit Diet theory true?
Somewhere, one day…perhaps many centuries ago a seemingly harmless theory that a grapefruit carries “fat burning enzymes” began to propogate so quickly that the grapefruit diet was born. Throughout the years and even today many dieters endorse the benefits of the Mayo Clinic Grapefruit Diet in spite of a lack of any real experimentation that would support the diet itself. In fact as of May 2008, recent experiments and medical research not to mention user testimonial all seem to unanimously discredit the age old diets legitimacy. However, I must be clear at this point. I don’t think anyone can dispute the multiple nutritional and health benefits of the grapefruit alone.
