No, the Mathematics Learning Centre (MLC) and the Mathematics Help Centre are two completely, unrelated separate entities. The Math Help Centre is located in room HH-3015 in the Mathematics (Henrietta Harvey) Building on campus. The centre is staffed by senior students and a lab instructor, Mr. Gerry O’Rielly, and is there to assist students in learning the material presented in Math 1050, 1051, 1090, and 1000. The MLC is located in Coughlan College, also on campus, where Foundation Mathematics courses (Math 10XF), selected accelerated courses and a self study version of Math 1090, are taught.
