No the orb spider is not poisonous to humans. Orb spiders are reluctant to bite and if they do symptoms are : Pain, nausea, dizziness, blister , numbness. All these symptoms disappear in a 24 hour period though some people do not react to any of the symptoms when bitten by an orb spider other than an itchy bump like a mosquito bite.
