Is the MAQUI in Avia an extract or is it a whole fruit puree?
The Maqui used in the Avia formula consists of the whole fruit including skin and pulp. In addition, the MAQUI seed is turned into a fine powder and used in the formula as well. Everything in nature is connected. We may not understand the relationships or even know they exist but there is complete harmony in the natural world. Extracting a single compound or even a couple of different chemicals from a botanical is like having a closet full of left shoes. By extracting a single compound or component, imitators inadvertently remove or overlook components that may contribute to the activity of the whole fruit.
