Is the Mac operating system less prone to security breaches?
If security is your only consideration, follow your instincts. Because Apple PCs make up such a tiny portion of the market, virus writers and hackers tend to ignore the Apple platform. But not totally – otherwise, antivirus and firewall software vendors would not be publishing Mac version of their products.
