Is the Loop for Life a rain or shine event?

Yes, their is too much that is required to organize the Loop to arrange another day as a back up. In the ten years of the Loop for Life, rain has occurred however, it was mostly a minor inconvenience. Last year, we got rained on for five minutes on the ride.
