Is the London Festival Fringe only accepting comedy scripts?
Oh no, no, no, no, no, nooooooooooooooo. And one for luck, no. Whatever you have, we’re accepting it. It doesn’t need to be funny. If you’re writing a play on the use of paper clips in SMEs, it will be more than welcome (although we can’t guarantee that anyone will want to pay money to see it). If you want to train a camera on a piece of dust for 40 minutes and transpose it into contemporary dance, go right ahead and submit it. But as well as normal submissions, we are hosting a number of awards for different art forms. Details here. I’m a writer/producer/director and have an idea that I want to put together for the LFF but need a lighting technician/camera operator/armadillo. Can the LFF provide me with details or put me in touch with such resources? You will find right here on the LFF website a “wanted, needed, anyone who can do” section where you can advertise for those things or people that you need to get your production off the ground.
