Is the locator Black-Box compliant?
Some real-time and near Real-Time unit are not black box compliant. And have data lost. This happen when the unit can’t reach a data carrier so its location is lost and is not plotted on the map until in come back into range, and location in “out of rang” areas are lost. True black-Box compliant unit have memory and if data carrier is lost it will hold its location and information until it is in rang and then send all data including location plotted outside the covered area like remote area. Some of our units have 2000 points of memory.
