Solely to protect the privacy of financial supporters of The Lisa McPherson Trust, we are registered as a for-profit company. If we were required to report the names of our contributors, we would run the risk that Scientology could find out their identities. They would then be subjected to harassment and intimidation to punish them for supporting the LMT. At some point in the future, the LMT may become a nonprofit organization.
