Is the library open at lunch and brunch?
Yes! The library is available to use during brunch and lunch. • Where is the catalog? Instead of the old card catalog, the resources of the library are listed on a computer database. We use the Dynix Scholar program, which is similar to the system used in the public libraries. There are six computers from which you can access the library catalog. • How can I find magazine articles? The InfoTrac magazine index and database is located on the six public access library computers. InfoTrac has the full text for many of the articles indexed and covers over 125 magazine titles. The library also has microfiche copies of some articles available. If you are just browsing, check the magazine rack for the newest copies of magazines to which the library subscribes. • Do you get the newspaper? We have the San Francisco Chronicle and The San Mateo Times available daily. A file of back copies is kept for one month. • Is there a way to find newspaper articles on a particular topic?
