Is The Liberal Lefts Ultimate Goal Really Socialism?
After reading an article that refers to Senator Clinton’s economic plan stating “Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton outlined a broad economic vision yesterday, saying it’s time to replace an “on your own” society with one based on shared responsibility and prosperity.”(http://washingtontimes.com/national/20070529-111813-5379r.htm) I have to wonder if this is to lead us away from our the structure of our nation and begin to eliminate capitalism. I have long wondered if all of the social issues that the Democrats want to bring into our government are based on what our founding fathers envisioned for this country, or if the Libs want to change who we are as a nation and bring socialism and fascism into power. My position on all of the social issues like welfare and universal health care is that I work hard for my dollar. I have taken steps and made decisions in my life to become more successful.
