Is the Lexmark x5470 a quality printer at an affordable price?

Great print quality for general use, and the scan/copy/fax functions are just fine for casual use. One pointer: I’ve noticed that the ink cartridges last a long time after the printer is telling you it’s low. When the warning comes up, I go and buy a new cartridge, but I wait until the quality of the printouts actually starts to drop before I put the new cartridge in.
