Is the legal driving age realy geting changed to 21? ?
I own a UK driving school and lately myself and numerous others seem to answer this question several times a day on Yahoo Answers! There are NO proposals to raise the driving age in the UK to 18, 21 or anything else. The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) currently have a Consultation Paper in progress in which a number of different proposals concerning the driving test and the way people learn to drive in the UK are under consideration. BUT RAISING THE AGE AT WHICH PEOPLE CAN START DRIVING IS NOT ONE OF THOSE PROPOSALS. Rumours about the driving age increasing have been doing the rounds for YEARS… Tell your friend that they’re wrong 🙂 THE DRIVING AGE IN THE UK IS NOT, REPEAT NOT, GOING UP TO 18, 21 OR ANYTHING ELSE…
