Is the leave and license agreement generally signed in multiples of 11 months or 12 months? Is there any stipulation when it comes to the total time period?
While leave and license used to be signed in multiples of 11 or 12 months earlier, the Maharashtra Rent Control Act of 1999 that came into force from 1/3/2000 does not contain any stipulation as to whether leave and license agreements should be made in multiples of 11 or 12 months. There is also no stipulation as to the total time period although such agreements usually dont exceed three years.
