Is the latest Version 6.5 compatible with notebooks and data created with previous versions such as reports, graphs, portfolios, filters, fund pools, and comments?
Yes. * To be able to access all the new reports and graphs, you should create a new Notebook, which will automatically contain all new objects, and then copy your own reports into it. We often make improvements and additions to the standard reports and graphs, and this is the way to take advantage of them. See “New Features” / “Copying a Page or a Folder” in the Expert’s new Help system. * To use your existing filters, portfolios, notes, and fund pools you have created, you should copy with Windows Explorer the file named User.Mem from your previous Expert program folder to the new one. The new default program folder is C:\Program Files\Steele Expert. You may want to copy your existing Notebooks there too, but do not forget to back them up regularly. See “User.Mem” and “Moving the Expert” in “New Features” in the Expert’s new Help system.
