No, absolutely not. I don’t exactly find any version of the Christian Bible “acceptable”, due to the contents. I prefer “A Witch’s Bible”. Now, if you mean is it the only orthodox or accurate Christian Bible, well, the accuracy of each translation is debatable.

There is no better translation then the KJV. One needs to remember that there are many chains that lead from the original manuscripts throughout history to our modern Bibles. Today we have many pieces of that picture of the complete and accurate transmission of Gods Word throughout history, as well as a number of corrupted manuscripts. Obviously to a Christian God is directly responsible for protecting His Word and carrying it throughout History and into the hands of you and I (and in the most universal language possible); however, even if we ignore Gods role one can’t simply ignore the fact that the KJV is based upon a more sound and agreeable set of manuscript copies. All other Bibles of today are based upon the works of two men (Westcott and Hort) and upon their efforts to establish Vaticanus and Sinaiticus as more accurate manuscript copies. So often I hear people argue that the KJV is not an accurate translation specifically because they are comparing it to these two corrupted man
