Is the JNTC vision business as usual?
Yes and No. While it is designed to broaden and deepen existing joint training, this capability includes joint tactical-level tasks along with physical assets and equipment integration. This enhanced training capability offers live, virtual and constructive (L-V-C) training in the air, sea and on land. The training is intended to span the full range of current joint tasks while ensuring that the training system supports required improvements in joint warfighting capabilities. As a major part of the Department of Defense’s Training Transformation Implementation Plan, it has the potential to be viewed as a new training infrastructure.
