J2EE SDK versions 1.2.1 and 1.3 are not officially supported on the Solaris Operating Environment 8 (Intel Platform Edition, formerly known as X86). One of our goals for a future release is to make the J2EE SDK free of native code, in which case the J2EE SDK is expected to run on Solaris/Intel.• Make sure the client jar is in the CLASSPATH.• Make sure objects passed between client and server are serializable.
