Is the ira still active in ireland facts please?

For as long as Ireland is divided That is to say Ireland and Northern Ireland exist ther will be some form of resistance to the domination of England over Northern Ireland. I believe that Sinn Fein and the IRA were a proper and necessary entity in Northern Ireland or all of Ireland for that matter. Hopefully the IRA and Sinn Fein will carry on and exist for the protection and reunificartion of Ireland. It is a travesty of justice for a nation to be split regardless of what that country is or what its beliefs are. England and its English people have historically been responsible for more bloodshed and tyrrany than any other empirical nation. I say “Give Ireland Back to the Irish” and long live the struggle for a reunited Ireland. Keep Sinn Fein and the IRA alive until the day that Ireland is joined together again. This struggle is a fine example of religions and their differences causing bloodshed and war amongst mankind.
