is the iPhone a better option than an Android phone?
The iPhone is still your best bet for a media player if you absolutely don’t want a separate player in your bag. Right now, Android has too many rough edges to make it a viable choice for anyone but the tech geek who likes things difficult. Though putting your tunes onto the device via drag-and-drop is easy, getting it all organized isn’t as elegant as on the iPhone. And the native video player is actually kind of lousy. The media-player side of Android is probably where you’ll want to explore what third-party solutions are available. The iPhone definitely wins on the media player front, though copylefters (and really, anyone who hates Apple’s ironclad grip on its media space) will prefer Android’s inherently open nature.
