No, IMI research actions have distinct rules for participation and intellectual property (IP) policy although there are common principles. As stated in recital 26 of the EC FP7 Rules for Participation, Community contributions to a joint undertaking or any other structure set up pursuant to Article 171 of the Treaty do not fall within the scope of these Rules.
