Is the IP Claim Service restricted to companies that hold registered trademarks?
No, individuals or entities holding common law trademarks may also submit an IP Claim through any NeuLevel-approved ICANN-accredited .biz Registrar. Common Law trademarks are accepted trademarks that have not been registered with the US Patent and Trademark Office (in the United States) or, in the case of other countries, with the appropriate authority for that country, but are recognized anyway because of usage. Please consult your attorney or legal advisor to determine if you, or your organization, have common law or registered trademark rights.
