Is the Iomega Desktop Hard Drive compatable with my Dell software?

Since an external hard drive comes with the software disc to install the software onto your system, no, you should not have any problem making the external Iomega work with your Dell equipment. I have two Iomega 500GB externals and both work well with the Dell Systems I own. I also have an older Iomega 80 GB external that works with the Dell hardware as well. If you do not have the software to install the Iomega Hard Drive to your system, you will need to get the drivers from Iomega Support Site which can be found by doing a search online for “Iomega Support Site.” As well, since Dell is now selling the Iomega equipment, it is endorsing the product, which in itself can sometimes say a lot.
