Is the installation process difficult?
Although the idea of a solid surface edge can be very intimidating, percentage wise, the majority of Gem-Loc is a wood substrate with laminate and solid surface as external or aesthetic components. As such, Gem-Loc performs like a wood product. No special training or adhesives are required outside the standard fabricator’s tool box. Any off the shelf wood glue will work, however, we recommend Tite bond II or III because of their moisture resistant properties. The application of Gem-Loc is similar to that of bevel edge, with some slight differences making the installation of Gem-Loc even easier.
