Is the information in a NextMailSM message or reply secure?
The voice content of the NextMailSM message is encrypted as it moves from the Nextel phone through the cellular network and into the NextMailSM server. Once your recipient elects to listen to the message, it travels in unencrypted form over the public Internet, and so should be considered no more or less secure than any other document sent through the Internet.
