Is the Infill Committee addressing the use of consistent facing materials?
The Infill Committee is not addressing architectural issues. The County ordinance addresses, or restricts, the use of some building materials. Individual neighborhoods, such as the Druid Hill Historic District, address architectural issues. A. The county requires a 75 foot buffer around streams and does not allow development in flood plains. There is an administrative variance process in place that allows for some very minor encroachment of the 75 foot buffer, but such variances are seldom granted.
