Is the identity of the users of the data, i.e. the downloaders requested?
It is not possible to obtain a complete overview of the final users of a data set, as the LCI data sets can be freely distributed including its inclusion into third party LCI databases, which are made available to further LCA practitioners. In order to be able to get at least some overview about users and to be able to outreach to downloading parties with information e.g. about updates, a registration could nevertheless be helpful, while this issue is not finally decided.
