Is the Hurricane Sundeck 2400 a good boat?
I own two Sea Rays with I/O’s and they are extremely reliable. So whoever is telling you to avoid I/O’s has never owned one long term. I owned several boats with I/O’s and six with outboards. I’ll never own another with outboards again. Reason, outboards are EASY to steal off the back of the boat and resold as a whole engine, or for parts. Tracing one is almost impossible. Don’t let other peoples’ opinions sway you from what you want and can afford. Get what feels right to you, that’s all that counts. Below is an article for the Hurricane from a respected boating magazine. Sure Hurricane isn’t one of the BIG name boats, but it’s a boat that you’ll have and your friends don’t have.
