That’s not background information. That’s a totally factless and baseless rant by someone who clearly doesn’t know anything about the subject. You do realise that there was some very important medical research ideas in that bill too don’t you? Like the creation of human-animal hybrid embryos for use in stem cell research to help with diseases such as altzeimers and Parkinson’s. Honestly, if you are going to get on your high horse at least have a proper understanding of the whole bill, not just the select parts of it that you’ve seen someone ranting about on the internet. They are not using half animal, half human embryos for IVF as it was stated in the article you posted the link too, infact it is clearly stated that no embryo will be allowed to develop past 14 days and none shall be implanted in an animal or human surrogate.
