Is the HTTP Session maintained even when the network connection goes down? Can the same browser instance resume a previous session after re-establishing the network connection?
Is it possible to give different session timeouts for different groups of users? I think session timeouts are set in the server and is the same for all users…meaning if you dont use something the web app for 30 mins yr session expires…and it is the same for all users. I have a cookie customer(aren’t they all..I need to bash them somewhere;) who wants different session timeouts for different groups of users…CEO,CIOs aka the elite group need only 30 mins and the John-Q group needs 120 mins before their session times-out/expires. Possible?
