Is the house equipped for cooking full meals?
Yes, there is a large, American range, a microwave, and a small barbeque. The dining room table seats 8 comfortable, and there is table service for 8+ and a full range of cooking utensils. The limiting factor is the grocery store; in Itacare it is very small and carries just the basics, but they do deliver to he house. If you can survive buying fish from the fishermen in Itacare port, and rice and beans in the market, you?ll be fine. If not, there are large supermarkets in Ilheus, and we have a large standalone freezer at the house for this purpose.
