Is the Home Depot or Ikea a good place to purchase kitchen cabinetry?
Both Ikea and the Home Depot sell high quality items at good prices. They are able to do this because they are volume sellers. Ikea’s costs are kept low because their cabinets must be assembled. This makes the cabinets structurally weaker when put together. The Home Depot’s prices, while good for high discount buyers, are not necessarily better for clients with smaller projects. With both retailers, there is virtually little to no advice, for employees of large home retailers are usually untrained in the profession of repair or renovation.
