Is the Highland Park area in Boston MA close to tourist attractions, restaurants, etc?

John M apparently is not aware that there is indeed a Highland Park section of Boston. It is in Roxbury – a high crime section generally but not so much in Highland Park proper. The nearest subway is the Orange Line, about a mile away. There are bus connections. Highland Park is totally a residential area, no restaurants or attractions except for Fort Hill. If indeed you are referring to Highland Park, Chelsea, however, there are several delicious, cheap, family run Central American restaurants within walking distance of the train station.
