The Masters program is accredited by the UK Institute of Energy and the IMM but is not accredited in the USA.

Accreditation is not a major issue in terms of credibility of the course and future employment (unlike an engineering degree for example). The vast majority of energy related MSc courses in the UK will not be accredited. I have never had an employer raise this issue with me. However it is something we want to do and are pursuing with the Energy Institute at this moment. I would hope that we will get accreditation in the next 12 months.
