Is the Haps service delivered using specialist or regular networking equipment protocols and interfaces?
It uses standard equipment, protocols and interfaces. With the exception of one linkage – that from the aircraft to the ground – all of the networking equipment, protocols and interfaces are the market standards. Connected to the equipment of the usual branded vendors, the Nokia Ericssons. Motorolas and Huawei etc. Similarly the Haps service follows the same GSM, 3GPP, etc and open Base-station standards.
