Is the Greyhound Bus Station in Washington DC safe at 3am?
I have taken the bus out of that station many times, a few in the early morning. Though not neccesarily dangerous, it can be disconcerting at times. I personally did not feel in any sort of danger, but I am also a 22 year old male. A group of girl scouts may however not be so good in that area. The area is not welllit or particuraly well populated at night. Though the inside of the terminal is probably perfectly safe, anywhere outside is not the type of area you would want to leave any girl unattended. Though I am pretty sure probably nothing would happen, its one of those things you just probably do not want to take chances with.
