Is the grant deadline the postmark date or day NIH receives it?
From http://grants.nih.gov/grants/funding/submissionschedule.htm … Electronic grant applications must be successfully received by Grants.gov no later than 5:00 p.m. local time (of the applicant institution/organization) in order to be considered “on time.” A paper application is on time if it is either: (1) received by the published receipt date, or (2) mailed on or before the published receipt date and a proof of timely mailing is provided.
