Is the golden compass a book worth reading?
Put it down until you’re curious about it again. I put that book down in the middle a few months back and I’m considering picking it back up…when I’m in the mood. In general, it’s always better to read what you’re in the mood for than what you think you should be reading. Then again, it’s nice to have read the same book as a friends…so that you have it as a common reference. As a general rule, follow your curiosity and you will always find great books that are worth your time.
