The GMAT test is mandatory since Drexel’s MBA program is among the elite business programs to hold the prestigious AACSB accreditation. Candidates who have taken the GRE in the past must still take the GMAT, as do candidates who have successfully completed other graduate degrees. No exceptions exist for work experience or cumulative GPAs. The GMAT is only waived for those individuals who can provide official proof (in the form of a transcript) that they hold a terminal degree; this includes a medical doctor, a law degree, or a PhD.
